MedWise was established in 2005 to provide specialist occupational health medical services to employers in Co. Kildare and the greater Leinster region.

Certifying the applicant is medically fit for the specific job

Occupational Injury or Illness Medical Assessment

Determine impact of injury, review prognosis, treatment and estimated return to work date.

Sickness Absence Medical Assessment

Clinical Examination and review of symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and impact of illness on fitness for work, estimated return to work date.

Occupational Health Case Management

Active management and co-ordination of employee’s medical treatment to accelerate recovery and return to work

Occupational Health Surveillance

Medical monitoring of employees exposed to potential health risks associated with a particular work environment or job, such as;

• Food Handler Skin Exam,
• Lung function testing for exposure to fumes/dusts,
• Vision screening for VDU workers,
• Audiometry for employees exposed to Noise at work.

On-Site Audiometry Testing

We can provide audiometric testing at your site using a standard audiometry soundproof booth, this reduces the downtime associated with sending employees off-site for Audiograms
