Fetac Level 5 Certificate
Regular refresher training is a legislative requirement for all first aiders to ensure that they keep up to date with developments in First Aid Practice while also refreshing skills that may only be intermittently used. Refresher training is required every 2/3 years; this course will keep a current First Aid Certificate in-date so that you can continue to practice as an occupational first aider in the work environment.

Revision of
Lesson 1: Assessment, Accident Scene Management
Lesson 2: Circulation, Wounds and Bleeding
Lesson 3: Respiration, Foreign body airway obstruction
Lesson 4: C.P.R. (50% of this session to include student practice) + AED
Lesson 5: Unconsciousness
Lesson 6: Fractures, Sprains, Strains and Dislocations
Lesson 7: Burns and Scalds, Chemical / Poisons, Electric Shock
Lesson 8: Medical Emergencies, Crush and Spinal Injuries
Lesson 9: Casualty Transportation
Revision: Examination
Duration : 1 day
Maximum Number of Participants: 10
Certification: Fetac Level 5 Certificate in Occupational First Aid, valid for 2 years as per new HSA guidelines.
Venue: In House Training at your site or at a convenient conference venue
