Manual Handling Training

More than one third of all work injuries reported to the Health and Safety Authority in Ireland occur during manual handling.

To comply with current Health & Safety legislation, staff engaged in manual handling must be given training in safe manual handling techniques. This training will show your staff how to carry out manual handling tasks correctly to avoid back injuries. By training your staff how to conduct manual handling safely you are complying with your legal requirements.

Back injuries caused by incorrect manual handling techniques are one of the most frequent causes of workers compensation claims.

Course Title: Manual Handling Training

Description:

Manual handling training programme aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to identify manual handling risks within the workplace and teaches correct lifting/handling techniques

• Lifting Techniques
• Practical assessment
• Written examination

Duration: 4 hours

Maximum Number of participants: 12 people

Certification: Certificate of attendance valid for 3 years

Venue: In House Training at your site or at a convenient conference venue
